I own a Flex and bought a Rupes 'knock-off' which I will replace with a real Rupes or maybe a Griot's BOSS when the knock-off dies. Anyway, I bought genuine Rupes pads and matching polishes to use with my long throw and between the pad and polish, operation is so smooth you can polish easily with one hand. Glides effortlessly across the paint. Fine followed by a Ultra Fine left the car looking like it just rolled out of a paint booth.
Great quality.
