The Nanoskin Brilliant Shine Autoscrub Kit is a quick, easy way to remove gloss-hindering above-surface contaminants from your vehicle’s paint. At the heart of the Nanoskin Brilliant Shine Autoscrub Kit is the Speedy Prep Sponge. This ergonomically designed hand-applicator features a rubber polymer coating on one side that acts to shave off above-surface contaminants, leaving your paint smooth, glossy and ready for wax. The advantage of the Nanoskin Speedy Prep Sponge is that it lasts considerably longer than a traditional clay bar and if you drop it, simply rinse it off with water!
The Nanoskin Brilliant Shine Autoscrub Kit is so easy to use that anyone can do it! Simply spray a panel with the included Nanoskin Smooth Instant Detail Spray and lightly rub the Speedy Prep Sponge across the surface until it glides effortlessly. Wipe off any remaining detail spray and apply a coat of the included Nanoskin Hydro-Express Spray Polymer to protect the finish (unless you plan on applying a different car wax or sealant). That’s it! Continue working panel by panel until you’ve completed the entire vehicle.

Works as good as Clay!

Nice sponge. A little small but that's just because I don't believe the new to me '08 Wrangler was ever clayed.
It got hung up on some spots but when it went flying across the garage I just washed the sponge rather then threw it away.
Did it twice. Once with soap after the initial wash then with the detail spray. My wife asked if I had candy because of the pleasant smell of the detailer.
Not a piece of clay. Good working sponge!

I am by no means a professional detailer, just someone who wants their car to look the very best that it can. Although I know that a proper detail and paint protection starts with clay bar, it's a step that I would more often opt out.
With a recent purchase of my R/T Challenger I researched which products would fit my needs the most to keep my paint looking it's best. I ran across this product, did some research and decided to try. I am glad I did.
Product is easy and fast with great results. And of course during my use, dropped the applicator twice. Simple rinse and go again. Love that. It's fun to use and will no longer be a skipped step for me.
