I use these pads for applying cleaner waxes/sealants, like Meguiar's M06 Cleaner Wax, Duragloss 101, or 3D Speed.
With a one step product I'm not looking for a ton of defect removal, butI do want a nice finish. The black foam is hearty enough to work abrasives without having it's own mechanical cut.
These pads are durable and can take a LOT of punishment.
