Not sure why all of the bad press for this air freshener. I didn't come into it thinking it would smell like an Italian Leather Sofa. But it does smell similar to leather. The sample I recieved left a light scent after several pumps applied under the seats. It even lasted about a week, which was longer than I expected. I have had a few different co-workers ride to lunch in my car and ask how the leather smells so fresh still with the car being a 2008. If you are interested in the product get it on the free sample and try it. I'm glad I did, I like it.
