Speedmaster Foam Pad Conditioning Brush
Clean and re-condition foam buffing pads.
The Speedmaster Foam Pad Conditioning Brush removes excess, caked polish and restores the usable texture to your foam pads in seconds. An angled handle and textured grip give you excellent leverage as you press the brush against a spinning pad. Don’t stop working – clean the pad and keep polishing!
Foam buffing pads become stiff and caked with wax and polish after just one use. If you look closely at the texture of a new foam pad, you’ll see that it is composed of thousands of tiny hollow cells. This varied texture provides polishing action as the pad spins. Wax and polish get caked in these compartments, making the texture of the pad smooth and therefore ineffective. The ergonomically designed Speedmaster Foam Pad Conditioning Brush scrubs wax and polishes out of the foam and restores its original texture.
This handy orange brush is made with a set of stiff bristles that easily pull caked and dried products out of the foam pad. And the specially shaped handle makes it comfortable to grip and keeps your hand away from the spinning buffer.
To use, hold the buffer pad side up and place the brush on the pad as it spins. The brush will quickly clean the pad and restore its texture so you can keep buffing. No more stopping to replace a pad halfway through buffing your vehicle!
Similar steel brushes made for cleaning wool pads cannot be used on foam. The Speedmaster Foam Pad Conditioning Brush is designed specifically for foam pads, but can be used on wool, too.

If you’ve got a big detailing job ahead of you, keep this Conditioning Brush handy. It will save you time by allowing you to buff or compound longer without changing the pad. Also use it to agitate pads when you are washing them. Just be sure to rinse the brush and let it dry before using it on a dry pad again.
The Conditioning Brush is a great time-saving device and will instantly become an asset in your detailing kit.

Very Nice.

First thing I noticed is that it has a very nice, oversized handle. As a person with larger hands this fits well and is easy to control. Makes working the pad easy.
One thing I did notice is that less pressure is more. You do not need to press hard or "scrub" to get good results.

Speedmaster Pad Brush

As we know pads collect used compound and polishing agents during use. This brush allows me to take a minute break and clean up the compound agents and polishing particles from my pads while I am working. It takes a moment or two to get the whole surface nicely fluffed and then I can continue working. I don't use an air nozzle (don't want to breathe all that stuff) and this brush fits the task perfectly.

I just wanted a fairly cheap pad brush. This worked perfect. Compressed air still works better. I’m glad I bought this brush.

Does the job well. Solid construction. Great design/ergonomics for its' use.
Freakin' expensive little brush. Before splurging on this one, I used a stiff bristled nylon brush from the home center.
