In the past, car enthusiasts had only one choice for paint enhancement and protection. Carnauba was the standard, with good reason. But as technology improved, manufacturers found that they could create comparable results with synthetic ingredients and actually extend those results for a longer lasting shine. Synthetic polymers were born and have proven very popular among the latest generation of car enthusiasts. To stay on top of the trend, Mothers has created a new line of high-impact products headed by their new Mothers FX Synwax.
The shine of Mothers FX Synwax is pure synthetic technology. While some people love the warmth of a carnauba glow, a growing number of enthusiasts prefer the hard, glossy shine that can only be engineered in a lab. Reflections are crisper and light refracts off of a synthetic finish much like a mirror. And, because Synwax is manmade; it is more durable than a natural carnauba. The Synwax shine lasts weeks longer and requires less effort to apply.
Synwax goes beyond shine enhancement to improve the texture of the paint. The formula contains polishes that remove minor surface defects as it creates a hard layer of synthetic protection. The finish is as smooth as glass and protects your paint from minor scratches and nicks with its hard, shiny shell. Think of it as a candy coating for your vehicle!
As with any synthetic polymer wax, Synwax is easy to apply. An engineered encapsulation process makes the wax spread quickly and easily. Simply rub a small amount of wax into a 2’ to 3’ section of paint. Keep changing the section of towel as it becomes soiled. Allow the wax to dry to a haze, and then buff it off with a clean Cobra Microfiber Towel or a terry cloth towel.
To use a polisher, apply a small amount of Synwax to a white pad and work at a low speed in a 2’ or 3’ area. Buff thoroughly while wet. Allow to dry to a haze and then buff away by hand with a soft Cobra Microfiber or terry cloth towel.

On my third bottle and continue to be very satisfied. Easy application, comes off easily with little dust or streaking. Leaves an excellent shine and appears to protect well. Works best with microfiber cloths.

This wax looks great on silver it really makes the car look like a wet finish when used after Mothers carnuba cleaner wax then use the Mothers step 3 brazillian carnuba wax and your ride is set for 4-6 months with NO problem Apply all by hand or with a dual orbital polisher to minimize how many microns of paint you take off the car

Goes on and removes incredibly easily, no smears, blotches or streaks. Leaves a bright, reflective shine, on bright colors it works real well. Used this before, durability to me is so-so, but with a product this easy to use, waxing frequently isn't as big a chore as it normally is. Could do with just a bit more depth to make this wax a winner.
