After the wash, the pre-wax cleanser, and the wax, Top Coat pushes your finish to its glossy limits by further enhancing your wax coat. Applied directly on top of the wax, it deepens the multifaceted shine achieved by a high quality wax. Extra protection in the formula extends the life of your wax so you wax less often and your finish stays in pristine condition. Natural waxes and modern chemistry combine to give your paint the ultimate high-gloss finish.
Top Coat can be applied over any wax, sealant, or glaze to amplify its effects. It contains no cleaners and will not disturb the wax underneath. Oftentimes, enthusiastic detailers layer waxes without realizing that some have cleaners that will remove previous coats. Top Coat sits on top of the wax to give it an additional layer of shine, protection, and gloss.
Top Coat can be applied by hand or with an orbital buffer. To apply by hand, rub it onto your paint, allow a haze to form, and buff it off as you would with any wax. To use an orbital buffer, work in small overlapping sections at a low speed. Apply light pressure and buff thoroughly while Top Coat is still wet. Allow it to dry to a haze and then buff it off with a clean, soft towel. We recommend a Cobra Microfiber Towel for super gentle buffing.

Top coat that is "Tops!"

The product goes on easily ( used a red foam pad and applied with a d/a buffer ) and comes off very easily after worked with a buffer for 2-3 passes to assure complete coverage.
Worked very well over a polymer sealant and liquid carnauba and really did add depth to the shine.
My Florett Silver A4 looks like a drop of mercury going down the road, and I love it !
Adds great depth to the shine of whatever wax you apply it over.

A decent product, durability is Ok. Used it in combination with other mothers products (cleaner wax, FX). It improves the depth of the paint and adds a bit more durability, but not as much as expected. Does seem to hide swirls. Does not make trim white, a bit thick. Seems to be a bit clear when applied real thin just before it hazes. Removes easily, without smearing or streaking.
Recently used it with NXT 2.0 (it does say on top of any wax, sealant or glaze) so i applied it over NXT 2.0 on black paint, car became even blacker and deeper and again concealed many of those swirls.

Deep shine

I applied over a very clean and freshly waxed surface so I didn't expect much. Boy was I wrong. It added a real extra pop to the shine and that wet look we all look for.

Used this on top of Mothers Reflections Advanced Car Wax and it muted the great look of the Reflections Advanced Car Wax. Not very durable either but more durable than the Advanced Car Wax alone.
