Chemical Guys Meticulous Matte Auto Wash is a natural, citrus based shampoo created for washing of matte, matte clear foil, and vinyl wrap. After washing with Chemical Guys Meticulous Matte Auto Wash, use Chemical Guys Meticulous Matte Detailer for occasional quick detailing with a soft microfiber towel.

More than just a matte wash

I use this on Matte paint and wheels, but also on ceramic coated vehicles. Works great, cleans well, doesn't leave streaks or spots when diluted properly. Smells like bubble gum. Works only okay as a coating prep per directions, however, it is more likely to leave spots when you double the concentration to use it that way.

It's not the strongest, so you will need some elbow grease or more product than the instructions say to use. However, it doesn't leave any shiny or streaky residue on my matte finish.

Wash worked good on my matte finished truck. You needed a bit more than the cap full per 5 gallons of water but overall I was pleased. A lot cheaper than other washes I found.
