Meguiar’s Wheel Brightener is a super concentrated wheel cleaner for clear coated, factory painted, and chrome wheels. It easily removes brake dust, tar, dirt, and grime with little or no scrubbing. With a dilution ratio of up to 4:1, Wheel Brightener is an easy choice for cost-conscious detailers. You can get sixteen 32 ounce bottles of wheel cleaner out of one gallon of Wheel Brightener!
Meguiar’s Wheel Brightener is for professional use. Dilute as directed. Do not use on polished aluminum or anodized wheels. For severe accumulation of brake dust, use a wheel brush to agitate the wheel surface. Spray on and let sit for 30-45 seconds before rinsing. Wash one wheel at a time.
As Meguiar’s says, there’s a fine line between effective cleaners and dangerous chemicals. Meguiar’s Wheel Brightener is one wheel cleaner that is both safe and effective on factory coated wheels.

Classic Caustic Cleaner

Its been around a while and is capable of cleaning most any factory wheel. When I'm looking to get factory wheels deep cleaned, this is what I use. It's decently priced and gets wheels clean with little to no agitation. If you don't have a acid based wheel cleaner and are looking to integrate one into your set up, you really can't go wrong here
Prototypical wheel acid, great on stock clear coated wheels.

I use it on all wheels diluted 4:1/5:1. It is strong enough to get the brake dust that's caked on, but soft enough to not damage paint. I use it to even help loosen up bug guts that are stuck on the front of cars. A gallon will last you a very long time.

This is good for extremely bad wheels. I use this for that purpose, and I use the non-acid tire and wheel cleaner for maintaining. Excellent products.

It's Meguiar's at it's best. When nothing else works this cuts right thru! Great wheel cleaner.

Great Wheel Cleaner

I've used several cleaners, both acid and non, and this actually smells good and doesn't smell like it's eating your lungs from the inside out. I would argue that it works more effectively than just about any other wheel cleaner I've used. Price is definitely good on Autogeek.net and that was also a determining factor in which wheel cleaner to upgrade to. Can dilute to keep from harming nice wheels or use it full strength on old disgusting rims and make them look new compared to before. And an added bonus (although I haven't tested it) this product can supposedly be used as an "iron decon" as well in some situations.
