Great product for renewing black trim

The wheel lip moldings and front valence on my 2005 Ford Ranger FX4 were faded and swirly when I bought it. I wanted to renew the look of my truck. I tried a few other products, but they did not contain any dye and didn't work all that well. I got the 6-ounce bottle of Forever Black, but I wasn't sure it would be enough to do all the area that needed to get done. I did the wheel lip moldings first and then I did the front bumper valence and still had some left. After a few rains and a car wash, it looked pretty good, but slightly streaky. I did a second coat on all of the parts mentioned above and still had enough left from the first 6-ounce bottle to do the second coat. Now, with two coats, it looks like new. Great product. I recommend Forever Black to anyone with faded black trim on their vehicle. A word of caution: wear gloves and old clothes when you do this, as this product contains a dye and is hard to remove from where you don't want it.
Works well on black plastic trim, goes a lot further than you might think.

Last time I used this prod. was a year ago, works great, make sure you use gloves as the prod. is a die not silicone, and use the cleaner that comes with the kit, must not have any silicon on the plastic trim.

This product is amazing. Used it on a 2001 explorer Sport Trac 4X4. Bumpers and side panels. Red truck and GRAY accents what was Ford thinking. I used the entire bottle just kept coating until used up. 2 coats would have been enough.Don't know how it works on smooth surfaces but for my application , it looks like a factory job.Your mileage may vary.
Tape off area, don't get it on the paint, is permanent.
