Cobra Cross Groove™ 6.5 Inch Orange Light Cutting Pad

I used these cutting pads for the first time ever on a black car. I was nervous but they were very user friendly. The pads are firm and do their job but after a short time getting comfortable I was no longer worried about doing more damage than good. Nice, easy to use pad.

TBH I don't have alot of experience here. Doing first paint correction efforts ever. Got this in lieu of Hex Logic that I had while also buying a different polish. Worked as well as Hex Logic. Used with BOSS Correcting Cream with good results. BOSS CC is not messy and this helped insure that.

I have used cobra before that is why i ordered them again. they don't get hot which is one of the reasons i like them. another reason is they hold up to the wear and tear of buffing. i have used cheap ones before and they start shredding the foam the second time around. i just throw them in the washer with my towels and then let them air dry foam side down. only wish the orange had a touch more cutting power so that i didn't have to use as much pressure or go up to a harsher pad. saying that, it still didn't get hot.

These pads are great. I have the orange, white, gray and red. They follow the curves of the car. Very fiogiving pads. Less vibration than other pads and I have used them all. Try them !
