The Shield hangs over the interior of your door so that your pet’s paws stay safely away from the plastic door panel. When the material gets dirty, you can wipe it off or throw it in the washing machine. It will look as good as new, and so will your door!
The Door Shield is available in 22” or 26” widths. Measure the width of your window minus the portion that does not roll down. The Door Shield is sold in sets of two so both back doors are protected from your pet’s paws.

They Works Fine !! I use them in my Escalade & S63 AMG

True, they are not constructed of a heavy material with integrated weights sewn in a long the bottom so you can drive with the window down....., But if you read the ad when you bought them or saw them at your local Pet Superstore (not going to say which one) I don't know how you could expect anymore, especially for the price. It is actually made from one of the most durable fabrics, 600 denier nylon, same used in seat covers. I've happily used them for years and if you use them for what they are, then you should be satisfied. Mine have not ripped or torn from use, have stayed in place when installed and are easily cleaned and they Do Their Job !! Besides....., Driving With Your BEST FRIEND'S head out of the window is DANGEROUS !!! Your pet can easily get a severe eye or ear injury from the smallest bit of road debris causing a permanent loss of hearing or sight. Sure my 3 Rottweiler's (May God BlessTheir Souls & Curse Cancer) loved to drive with their heads out, but never over 10 MPH. I Used the A/C always. Loved them SO MUCH, I bought the Escalade & S63 AMG for them, had their own climate ctrl. in back.
So the product does work. Never had any druel or scratches on my door panels.
Great product idea. I thought it would be great if someone made such an item to protect an area that gets dirtiest and I luckily found them online.
