This backing plate features a hook and loop style, making it compatible with most pads. This sturdy backing pad has a foam insert which creates a flexible surface. You can use this backing plates with any compatible pads.

However, the pads are still easy to remove when you need to swap to a new, clean pad after the previous one is saturated.

The Buff and Shine Dual Action 3.5 Inch Backing Plate was designed with a foam insert between the hard plastic base of the backing plate and the hook-and-loop face. This offers better surface contact as you work on curved surfaces.
